As You Watch: S2.03: The Battle of Dawn of the Deads

Here’s another installment of the As You Watch Podcast, a podcast I host with Joe, and Vern. This week, we continue with our new format, and open up the show into a debate-style layout, where Vern and Joe go up against each other discussing which Dawn of the Dead is better. The 1978 film directed by George A. Romero, or the 2004 remake by Zack Snyder. Listen to the episode, leave your own thoughts, and let us know if you think that Joe, the moderator, made the right decision.

Do you think Nick made the right decision this week?

Written By Nick

Nick is a man obsessed with all things related to film. From the most obscure to the very popular, he’s seen it all and hopes to one day turn his obsession into a career that makes a lot of money so he can buy a monkey, a bulldog, and a full size Batman suit.

I like both, but I have to pick the original over the remake, as it’s funnier, but also brings the gore and boo-hoo bits when required. AND I like the characters a bit more. Snyder’s version has a tight opening sequence, those rocket-propelled zombies, not a lot of humor and a smaller cast that’s OK, but not as memorable as the one in the original.
