Enough talk about the new Batman. I’d hate to have to bring it up again. Anyway, this week’s posters include a few good ones, and possibly the greatest movie poster ever (at least for this year). I like Jude Law a lot, but really haven’t liked much of his work for a while. I never even heard of Dom Hemingway until now, but wait until you see the poster. It’s magical. I’m also pretty happy to see Terry Gilliam’s The Zero Theorem actually happening. We’ll lead off with the first poster for Gilliam’s new film.
Terry Gilliam’s name always sparks interest. This one deals with a hacker who is looking for the “reason for human existence”. If you’re expecting something weird the poster doesn’t disappoint, and the cast is really great. Can’t wait for this one.
My mind went somewhere when I saw this poster, but apparently it’s about an acting class.
“As a thirty something acting teacher attempts to push a group of eager young performers out of their comfort zones, he struggles with his own ability to live an authentic and fulfilling life with his teenage son.”
Fast food. It sells itself.
Jude Law is Dom Hemingway, and you’re not. This poster kind of wins everything.
Wiki leaks, and stuff.
I’m not exactly the demographic for this poster, but I give them credit. I would rather see posters presented as add campaigns rather than just snap shots of the cast.
Speaking of snapshots of the cast.
Not very creative, but this isn’t really the sort of film to care about that kind of thing. People are going to love this movie, and Clooney knows it.
Another great poster for a documentary.
I mean, did you read the review quote at the top? “Project X via Can’t Hardly Wait universe and melds it into an Invasion of the Body Snatchers shaped mold”.
That is some facial hair, Mr. Sam Rockwell.
