(There has since been a remake in 1998 and a TV spin-off as well.) The story of the movie revolves around a motel owner, Norman Bates, his mother, and the murdered motel guests. (There is a very famous shower scene starring Jamie Lee Curtis’s mother, actress Janet Leigh). This black and white horror film was produced and directed by the legendary Alfred Hitchcock. Although it is an old film with a low budget, it is a slasher party film classic.

2.   You’re Next: This is one of the best teen horror movies in 2011. “You’re Next” is an American movie based on horror and thrills with a punch of dark comedy. The film, which revolves around the story of a family getting attacked on their wedding anniversary trip, was directed by Adam Wingard.

3.   The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: Anther classic slasher party film, the very gory “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre” was released in 1974.
